J. Lawrence Hall Co., of Nashua, NH, recently completed the
design and installation of an HVAC system for two classrooms at
Nesmith Hall at the University of New Hampshire in Durham.
As part of its curriculum, a UNH class studying energy management will monitor air temperatures, energy consumption and costs savings provided by the new system. The system features ventilation via an Energy Recovery ventilator and air conditioning from a Carrier ductless split system. Hall's project crews worked closely with UNH's Energy Management Department, which designed the system's controls, and Samuria Electric, Milton, NH, which provided the electric wiring.
