J. Lawrence Hall Co., Inc. Completes St. Joseph’s Hudson Medical Office Building

J. Lawrence Hall Co., Inc., Nashua, NH, recently completed the St. Joseph’s Hospital Medical Office Building in Hudson, NH. The new building is a 30,000 sq. ft. two story building, housing a branch of their medical offices. This project for Hall consisted of the full heating, air conditioning, and plumbing for this building using a geo-thermal system. Three standing column wells were drilled with pumps and controls to provide heat transfer water to 39 closed loop water source units for heating and cooling with independent temperature controls for the private office suites.

J. Lawrence Hall Co., Inc. Completes Rodgers Memorial Library, Hudson, NH

J. Lawrence Hall Co., Inc., Nashua, NH, recently completed the George H. & Ella M. Rodgers Memorial Library in Hudson, NH. The new library is a 13,500 sq. ft. single story building with a 2,500 sq. ft. basement. The library was built to replace the Hills Memorial Library which opened in 1909. The mechanical systems which were installed by J. Lawrence Hall Co. include package gas electric roof top units, split system air to air heat pumps, and in-slab radiant floor heat, served by a high efficiency condensing gas boiler. The J. Lawrence Hall Co. worked closely with construction manager North Branch Construction, Inc. throughout the completion of the project.

J. Lawrence Hall Co. Completes Nubanusit Neighborhood & Farm Co-Housing Project

J. Lawrence Hall Co., Nashua, NH, recently completed the Nubanusit Neighborhood & Farm Co-Housing Project in Peterborough, NH. This mechanical project consisted of 29 units in 16 residential buildings plus two common buildings constructed in accordance with LEED Certification standards all of which share a central wood-pellet-fired boiler plant for heating and domestic hot water. This project received LEED Platinum status and was the first residential project in New Hampshire to receive this highest level of certification according to guidelines set forth by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). J. Lawrence Hall Co. worked closely with Bruss Construction on this unique project.
